Home Appliance Manufacturing

Retrofit legacy lines without stopping production; systems evolve year by year, and O&M is quantifiable and assessable.

Industry pain points

  • Legacy lines have mixed equipment and frequent modifications, and construction cannot stop production.
  • Systems become islands three to five years after build, and no one takes over long-term O&M.
  • Foreign-invested factories have high IT project gates: solutions must be demonstrable and systems must be able to evolve.

Our solution

  • Companion-style line retrofits: starting from single-point visualization and evolving year by year along the customer's IT roadmap — OPC data integration, whole-line MES, dedicated retrofits (press / clutch / bundling), facility energy, server renewal; no rip-and-replace for ten years.
  • Whole-line MES: zone PLC aggregation, large-screen mapping, unified database; a dual system of rolling screens and event pop-ups, with pass rate judged automatically by the host PC per machine model.
  • Test bench systems: motor / complete-unit performance test benches — three types of heterogeneous equipment unified in one network (controllers via coupler to ModbusTCP zone PLCs, winding machines via touch-screen adapters, inspection equipment directly connected to the database), inspection data automatically reported.
  • Annual maintenance system: standardized maintenance contracts, year-by-year rolling maintenance checklists, annual maintenance reports — O&M quantifiable and assessable.

Representative projects

  • A Japanese-invested home appliance group (Shanghai plant): more than ten years of continuous service on washing machine lines.
  • A compressor company: compressor test data collection system.
  • A Japanese-invested air-conditioning company: compressor SCADA and vision-based packing project.

Capability extensions

  • OEE efficiency analysis, facility energy upgrades to EMS.
  • AI quality judgment (reserve direction).
